Alex
Hi. I have heard that quality bits matter alot. So I'd like to know if anyone has recommendations for which bits last longest for a Hilti TE-6-A and where to get them, as well as other hardware, for the best price. Thanks
Crackbolter
This bit should work well.
hanman
I have been using the Hilti bits for about a year, and they seem to last about twice as long as others (Dewalt, Bosch, etc). While you're at it, check out the umbilical battery attachment to lighten up the unit for sharp end duty. It is an excellent addition if you are so inclined. Hilti has a Kirkland or Seattle branch, Patrick Morse is the sales rep @ 425-241-0697.
backcountrydog
theres a couple different sds bits on the market similiar to the hilti bit in C-bolters link, and they definetly last longer than the plain-jane bits hanman refers to. i saw one brand in the hardware store today...jorlan(?) i think was the brand.
