Thinker Posted March 15, 2004 Posted March 15, 2004 how many of you cartridge stove users would buy and use a pressure gauge that would work on cartridges to tell you how much fuel was left in them? Ever seen the shame on a person's face when he realized that his 'new' cartridge died on a climb because he'd confused it with the one he'd used in the car campground the night before? Quote
Blake Posted March 16, 2004 Posted March 16, 2004 Pocket rocket but there are a lot of good and light stoves on the market. The guy who invents a cannister with some type of guage of how much fuel remains will make a million bucks. Quote
Peter_Baer Posted March 16, 2004 Posted March 16, 2004 I use a postal scale to figure out how much gas is left. I think a full 8oz IsoPro canister is 355g; an empty one is 136g or thereabouts. Quote
