JOND Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 does anyone know if the long and standard size freerides have different mounting holes. basically my new boots are going to be to small for the the long ones and i wanted to get the standard size ( i dont want to drill anymore holes in my skis) thanx, JOND Quote
cj001f Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 The "long" refers to the length of the bar running under your foot, so yes they need different holes. Quote
markov Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 I have some freerides in my closet that I need to have mounted. I have an offer from an ex-ski-shop-tech buddy who's willing to do it in his garage, but we can never seem to find time to mount them. That aside, can anyone make a recommendation of a quality shop in the Seattle area where they have expertise in mounting this particular binding? (Bought new on ebay...so it's not like I can just go back to the location of purchase). Quote
goslow Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 Pro Ski Service on Aurora (Hwy99) has always done good work for me. There website is www.proguiding.com Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 markov, I bought my freerides from Marmot. I had them mounted at a shop in redmond that does not deal with BC gear often. The guy doing the work told me it was not appropriate to use the boot I had with the bindings and set them properly since they had a rubber sole but mounted them anyway. Then I went home and screwdrivered the areas in need to proper settings and din 8 front and back. No problems yet. I think Pro SKi whatever is fine too. Quote
