Metolius #6 cam 7) Metolius belay gloves XL, new with tag (tag accidentally detached when I took them out to get this picture). $12 8) REI chalk bag. Late '90s steeze right here in excellent condition. Comes filled with chalk and with the moderately used BD light D. $5?? Free with other purchase?? For all this stuff I can say its never been abused or dropped from great heights. All stored in a nice basement, in plastic bins, with all my other climbing gear. Etc, etc.
  2. I have a Mountain Hardware Trango 2 tent w/ footprint that I will sell you for $200. It's a couple years old, but I have only used it on backpacking trips about 4-5 nights total. It is a bombproof tent. PM or email me if you're interested.
  3. This BEAUTIFUL 4x4 is still available if anyone is interested.
  4. I am helping my friend sell her explorer and I figured somebody out there might be looking for a 4-wheel drive vehicle to pick up for less than $2000. Here are the details: 1992 four-wheel-drive Ford Explorer XLT. It is a black 4-door, 5 speed manual transmission that has 238,000 miles on it. Asking $1,800 O.B.O. It is in great running order with no mechanical problems and the body is straight (no rust). The interior is clean and looks good (non-smoker, no pets), with only a few issues (cracked center console, broken knob on heater switch). It has been well maintained and is being sold by the original owner. It has power windows, power locks, privacy glass, running boards, and whatever else comes with the XLT model. The muffler has a hole in it, so you might want to get that fixed, or not. A great car for winter driving, logging roads, getting over the passes, etc. That's everything I know about the car. Blue book is $2,400, but she wants to sell it--so make an offer. Email or PM if you are interested and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I live in the Snoqualmie area but work in Seattle, so I'm happy to meet up with you in the greater Seattle area. My cell # is 206.228.2117.
  5. I just got a rocket box at the REI g-sale, and now I need to figure out how to mount it to my car! Somebody gave me two Yakima crossbars, so I guess I just need some Yakima towers that fit on the raingutters on my car? Maybe Thule towers would work too? I don't know, I'm new to the yuppie rocket box thing. Oh, if it makes a difference, I drive an '87 chrystler lebaron w/ gutters. If you have anything (towers, advice, etc) let me know. I'd be interested in anything that works (not too concerned w/ aesthetics...the car takes care of that.) Cheers!!
  6. The skis and bindings are sold. I still have the boots. ASKING $90.00.
  7. 180cm Dynafit Tour Lite Tech Randonnee skis mounted with 2003 Dynafit Tri-Step bindings and brakes (second generation). Used for a couple runs -- in LIKE NEW condition with a brand new full tune from pro-ski. The whole set-up (skis/bindings/brakes) is SUPER lightweight, about 6lbs total (that's like 3lbs per foot ). Dynafit TLT All Terrain boots, mns 9. In Great shape, only scuffed on the insides from boot rub, used around 20 days. See photo. Asking $400.00 This is a great package for somebody interested in rando rally stuff, or somebody looking for a good ski mountaineering set up or lightweight touring rig! PM me or email at mordwand /at/ hotmail /dot/ com. Some pics of the gear:
  8. THESE ARE STILL FOR SALE, SKIS + BINDINGS = $350.00
  9. BUG-- I might be interested? What size and what condition are the parka and pants?
  10. Dr. C, When I first read that they were selling for $99 bucks at Life-Link.com I thought "oh, crap!" But I see that that's all straightened out. Hopefully somebody will realize that $150.00 bucks is a good deal. I might be able to scrape up a pair of in the box and shiny TLT Tech binders to add (if you don't already have them) for an additional $200 (for a total of $350), let me know. And yes, I have skied skis like this (same model), in fact that's all I ski at the moment. They're great, probably especially when the snow is less than perfect (thus, "in time for spring," i.e. hard snow mornings, corny/slushy afternoons, strange evenings). Sure, they don't have the limosousine dampness of my favorite alpine board (which I might enjoy if I had perfect conditions), but then again I have lighter, softer boots when I'm in the backcountry, so it's nice to have a lighter and softer ski -AND- I have to carry them (on my feet or my back) up any hill that I want to go down, and that's when they're MONEY! So, that's my nickle's worth.
  11. These are super light weight (4.5 lbs !!) skis that are perfect for spring touring (i.e. leaving your friends in the dust on the climb!). Brand new and shiny! Asking $150.00, obo. Dynafit "Lite Tech" 180cm, must be mounted w/ dynafit bindings (why else would you buy light skis if you're just going to put 4lbs of bindings on them?). They're "on sale" at www.life-link.com (under "specials") if you want to check them out.
  12. 180cm Dynafit Lite Tech skis (4.5lbs), new in factory wrap. Dynafit TLT binders w/ brakes, new in box. It's unmounted and shiny ! I'll sell for $425.00 OBO. Let me know if you're interested.
