HRoark Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 and strangely they didn't steal my slowshoes. That's because there wasn't a Nike emblem on them or they couldn't figure out how to sling them on a chain for ultimate bling bling. Quote
Thinker Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 SWEEEEEET! couldn't have hoped for a much better outcome. Quote
badvoodoo Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 Left it LOCKED??? Surprised they didn't leave a note: "Terribly sorry for the inconvenience. Love the stereo, but the sunglesses just aren't me. Have a nice day!" But congrats on the return! Quote
Dru Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 stole your burned CD's? gives new meaning to the "Don't Steal Music" saying. Burned Cds have no resale value so they must have taken them for their OWN COLLECTION!!! Maybe you can find them using KazAa Quote
sk Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 Heh, police called a couple hours ago. Picked up my beloved old s00b about 6 blocks from home, minus her (new) CD player, some burned CDs, and my parking change. The guys were nice enough to leave my Forest Pass, my Serengeti sunglasses and strangely they didn't steal my slowshoes. They also were nice enough to park it in someone else's off-street parking so it would get called in ASAP. The locks weren't broken, and they left it locked. Must be that notorious Seattle politeness thing. Could have been a lot worse. YAY THAT IS SOOOOOOOO COOOL Quote
chelle Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 Hhmm. Maybe notorious "borrow the car for 24 hours" bandit stuck again. He just liked your CDs better than mine. Just kiddin 009. But Quote
