gapertimmy Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 check my TR about wing ridge. it is only about a 2 mile tour into the base of the ridge, very little elevation gain. most of the ridges from there can be grabbed within an hour's tour. you can actually access McCully (just a few ridges north) from the same th... or make a camp between the two and have some fun. the huts are a nice option if you are willing to $pay, but i heard they are already booked until late March. http://www.wallowahuts.com runs tours to a yurt up in McCully basin as well.
