Drury Falls/Leavenworth Ice

Anybody know how/if Drury has formed this year and maybe some insight to its current conditions? Has there been much snow on the east side this year? I have not been climbing locally at all this winter so I have no idea of what type of conditions to expect. Thanks for any and all information! bigdrink.gif

Slogged a ways in with Cascadeclimber on sunday but we had to turn around due to the fact that we lost a snowshoe in the river. The postholling was to hard for me for my weak body.

It was 39F at 4 in in themorning. I was in a short sleeveshirt. It was colder at Banks.

Drove by Drury on Saturday. It is there and it is magnificent looking. It might be scary though, we were on Hubba Hubba, which was a fun hike, but as far a good pro, there really wasn't any to be found. The ice on HH was pretty cooked from the warm spell we had earlier this month, so it make me wonder what it did to Drury, especially where there is a lot more water that flow behind it. Snow is a little deep definitely bring flotation, but once you hit the steep slope they might be useless. There is no ice pack to cross on so you need a boat. Get on that sucka and tell us all how it was.
