mounthay Posted January 9, 2004 Share Posted January 9, 2004 No more snowplow from Mazama to Silver star creek (last 7 miles)in the North Cascades. Does anybody know when this happened? Anyway, that place has no place for winter ski tours anymore, unless that is it you want to turn traditionally one-day affairs into two+. marylou Posted January 19, 2004 Share Posted January 19, 2004 Hope this isn't perceived as thread drift, but I've noticed, at least it seems like, there are less snowplows everywhere these days. Less on the highways near the passes, and virtually no plowing in the city when we had our micro-dump in town couple weeks back.
