I guess I had to derange my senses to a certain degree to realize that I did not have to do what I "thought" I had to do. Overcoming an overbearing father was quite a chore. I really didn't find school particularly challenging, perhaps because I was not interested in what they had to offer and perhaps I did not know myself yet. So, the lesson, if you can call it that, is KNOW THYSELF. If you like rain, B'ham. Dry, Ellensburg. If you want to climb, camp 4... Quote

The UC system is putting a new campus in Merced (opens in '06), Fresno State is pretty good, and the CSU Stanislaus in Turlock has a good rep depending on your major. Downsides to being 2 hours from Yos... Fog in winter. Smog most of the year. Hot as hell in the summer if you stick around. Quote
