Dave_Schuldt Posted December 28, 2003 Posted December 28, 2003 Back country, XC or area. Early start and NO hangovers. Why party when the snow is so good? Quote
thelawgoddess Posted December 28, 2003 Posted December 28, 2003 shouldn't you party BECAUSE the snow is so good? Quote

Beck Posted December 29, 2003 Posted December 29, 2003 Dave, how about, camp out new years' eve, get sloppy drunk, wake up and do yoyos right of the sleeping bags? Â you can't expect folk to not drink on new years eve because you want to get up early! Â a litttle ski camping and partying is in order IMO.... you call the desti for a CC.com New Years Eve campout, my location pick is up in the tatoosh at the top of the woods just below the pinnacle-castle saddle... dryad Posted December 29, 2003 Posted December 29, 2003 That sounds like a pretty damn good idea. Quote
Dave_Schuldt Posted December 29, 2003 Author Posted December 29, 2003 (edited) Cool idea, but I have to work on Wed and Fri. I wpouldn't count on the road being open. Camping aon rampart ridge above Longmire and touring up towards Van Trump Park might be cool. Edited December 29, 2003 by Dave_Schuldt Quote
Beck Posted December 29, 2003 Posted December 29, 2003 what's the forecast going to be like? If the weather is like this on Wednesday, I'm going to head down by 10 AM or so... it doesn't take long to get into the tatoosh at all.... Quote
