chelle Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 Anyone have a recommendation for a shop in Seattle where I can rent some skis, boots, poles? It's too expensive to rent at the ski area. I sold all my ski gear last year. Sellers remorse... Quote
Billygoat Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 If you are going to Baker the Glacier Ski Shop. John, Drew and Scott are good guys and very competitive. Call ahead 360-599-1943 Quote
minx Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 do you want to rent for the season or for a day? most of the shops in seattle have good deals. the other option you might get away with you're nice to the guys at the shop is picking up a kids ski package. i'm short enough and light enough that i've gotten away w/using kids gear before. skis, boots, and bindings new would be about $275 Quote
Dave_Schuldt Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 Bummer to hear you sold you skis! Try Pro Ski at 90th and 99. They also rent AT gear. They are verry cool. Quote
Dustin_B Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 Olympic Sports across the street from the east side of Northgate Mall. Pretty good deals for daily rentals. Quote
thelawgoddess Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 ski mart in bellevue rents "regular" skis; sturtevant's rents higher-end demos. can't remember how much either of them costs. pretty convenient if you're heading to crystal, though. Quote
