MtnHigh Posted December 9, 2003 Author Posted December 9, 2003 Just got back from the happy doctor (pharmacy) and the mean doctor (orthopedic specialist) with hurtin' teen in tow. The happy doctor did Ryan good, laid out a fatty bottle of perocet. The mean doctor, a reputable and very nice PDX ortho guy, twisted the said arm/wrist this way and that until teen was almost in tears. Looked at the x-rays and told us to come back in a week. He doesn't think that the bone fragment is the source of the pain. He thinks its ligament damage. On the bright side he's not having us rush into surgery to remove the bone fragment. I'm considering a second opinion. Quote
