catbirdseat Posted November 3, 2003 Posted November 3, 2003 When was the last time it took you three hours to climb 400 vertical feet? That's about three pitches. Quote

Fejas Posted November 3, 2003 Posted November 3, 2003 Fuck, I climb bridges for free... There is an old train tressel out here that is bitchin to climb, its not 400ft high or in an exotic location but its still bitchin none the less.... Quote
Necronomicon Posted November 3, 2003 Posted November 3, 2003 My friend did this on a bussiness trip. They use grey "action suits" to blend in with the bridge, and not distract drivers. Quote

Point taken. I like to think that it's not an adventure unless the outcome is uncertain. Seems to be dumbing down the idea that this is an "adventure". Quote

How does one blend in with a bridge, when they are walking on top of it, no matter what the hell they are wearing? This whole concept is ridiculous. Reading the article, I thought they were going to say they charged a $5 or $10 fee to let people go up there, similar to going to the top of the empire state building. Oh well, there is something for everyone... Quote
