Greg_W Posted September 9, 2003 Posted September 9, 2003 Saw it a few weeks ago. Fucked up, man. I liked "Traffic", as well; similar vein. Quote
ChrisT Posted September 9, 2003 Posted September 9, 2003 What about "thirteen"? I think I need to see it before my 12 year old daughter does! Quote

ChrisT Posted September 9, 2003 Posted September 9, 2003 thirteen year old girls punching each other for kicks among other things... Quote
Ratboy Posted September 9, 2003 Posted September 9, 2003 I watched "Bully" on HBO the other night. It's by the same director as "Kids" and very much in the same vein. Based on a true story in Florida (although with certain creative license taken). Excellent movie, but makes me even more resolute in not wanting kids. Quote
ChrisT Posted September 9, 2003 Posted September 9, 2003 Movies like that make it look like all teenagers these days are deranged when in reality it's a small minority...of the ones I know anyway. Quote

And the cinematography looks like it adds a lot to the credibility of the story, digital video is the cinematic future. Quote
