Dave_Schuldt
My new Jeckyll 1000 , took it out for a 46 mile ride today. It's an 01 so it was marked down from $2400 to $1500. First soft tail, cruises right over the bumps. Spray on suckers got it at Montlake Cycles in Seattle, looked like they had another one in extra large. Kiwi
Congrats, mate. I'm looking at a bike too--used road bike. Damn these things are expensive. I'd rather save up for a good car.

Thanks. I'll check those places out. I've been to Second Ascent before. They didn't have much when I went. I'll go again to see if they got some new used bikes in. But I don't consider $500 for a 10+ year old relic a deal. I'm sure it was state of the art and $2000+ back in the late 80s...

My understanding was that's what the conservatives say just before...
catbirdseat
Dave, you ought to make it look like shit, so no one will want to steal it. Can't leave a shiny new bike like that anywhere, even with a cable on it. Enjoy and take care.
