eternal
Wasn't sure where to post this... Anybody going to this show? Thought we'd camp out the night after the show with all the other freaks and then head somewhere close for some hiking *ack!* the next day and whatnot. Where's the best place to camp for the views and whatnot?
Fence_Sitter
i am thinking about going...modest mouse, coldplay, flaming lips...should be a good show...looking to carpool?
COL._Von_Spanker
Hey, I bet Frenchmans Coulee wont be crowded at all, cause like no one know about that place right?
COL._Von_Spanker
BTW, I'll be at the show.
gapertimmy
me, jon, and chase will be watching them at the much more intimate Les Schwab amphitheater on the shores of the deschutes for probalby about $20 less on Sunday night. Perhaps you should come to the show down here, better beer, good weather, and smiffy isn't nearly as chossy as vantoge
Fence_Sitter
better weather my ass....and there are like 4 other acts there too... but mabe i'll hit both... and as far as i know...bud tastes the same in washington and oregon...
gapertimmy
i think its dope that some big name acts are playing in bend this summer imho. the amphitheater is a *tiny* ass venue right on the deschutes river in the old mill district.... may 25th will go something like this: lift serviced skiing in the am mtnbiking or climbing in the afternoon coldplay hottub of pron sounds like a gem of a day to me oops, other acts coming to bend this summer: pink martini, the beach boys and ben harper/jack johnson Edited May 14, 2003 by gapertimmy

Szyjakowski
Frenchmanns Coulee is fairly popular. if it will be open during the concert and the gorge has some beer friendly campgrounds at the venue.
chelle
I think the camping at the venue is $30. If you're camping at the Coulee make sure you have the stupid Fish & Game parking permit. It's a $72 ticket if they catch you without it. Protesting it doesn't work...
COL._Von_Spanker
The coulee will be a fucking madhouse, I made the mistake of being there during a dave fucking matthews concert. I'd rather pay than deal with the coulee. Plus you can always score whatever you may need at the pay camping....
