Mount Daniel Southwest ridge?

I was planning a trip for mid august this summer that involves climbing the southwest ridge of mount Daniel (and downclimbing the standard southeast ridge) starting at the saddle on the west side of venus lake. looking at caltopo slope angle shading and topo maps, it seems as if there is a possible scramble to take without getting cliffed out, but i have not found any information anywhere online about the route, or any real evidence of anyone ever even completing it. 

Here is the approximate route that i am thinking, with possible detours dotted. 

I would love to hear if anyone has any info on this, or even any pictures of it.

Have you checked the Beckey Guide? If it's a reasonable route it will probably be listed.

Fred calls it the south spur (p. 197) and says you can stay on it the entire way, no need to detour.  He doesn't give it a rating meaning, "Pfffft....easy". 

Buy the Beckey books people, all of them!  The internet will only take you so far in your Cascadian apprenticeship.
