on the subject, if i ever go for denali i will likely want to wear my scarpa lazer ski boots with thermoflex liners. i formed my thermoflexes to fit with only a thin liner sock (standard prectice for skiing).

questions are 1) is that likely to be warm enough? (those thermoflexes are way warm, but i've never been at 20K) and 2) i've heard your feet swell at altitude. would that be a problem since i only have room for a liner sock?

All of my experience with thermoflex is skiing too. I'd be interested if anyone thinks thin liner sock strategy should be different for climbing?

No. In fact, it's easier to dry thin socks, so they're preferable, IMO.
