Mike
Has anybody scoped out the N face of Big Four lately? Given the new snow, it's probably not looking good but I'm curious about conditions of the north facing routes.

Alex
36 degrees at 3500 ft. Prime conditions for a go at Big Four, if you ask me.

Out there today with Mike, looked real shitty, lots of new snow on the lower part of the face, couldn't see the upper 1500', drank beer in the parking lot. Could take a bit to come into good shape, freezing levels are supposed to stay pretty low for a while.
Mike
Thanks for the info. I was across the valley helping my friend Steve plow a trench to the top of dickerman. We got our exercise, but we didn't get good views of Big Four. It'll probably have to fatten up a lot for me to take a swing at it, since I'd rather sink my tools into ice than scratch my way up. Necronomicon
Its more like "wallow your way up" right now. Pray to your gods for thaw/freeze.
