daylward Posted October 11, 2001 Posted October 11, 2001 The Climbing Club at the UW has cunningly coerced us into showing our acclaimed (does being mentioned in Climbing Magazine count?) slideshow: Reduced Expectations - A Season in Patagonia We were one of the very few parties that lucked out in the face of what some have claimed was worst weather in 40 years and actually summited a peak there last season! Where: HUB Auditorium on the UW Campus When: Monday, October 15, 2001, 7:30 pm Admission: $3, unless you are a student or faculty and want to join the club (don't know how much that costs now), in which case admission is waived. See ya there! Quote
forrest_m Posted October 12, 2001 Posted October 12, 2001 just getting this back up to the top... please come to our slide show! Quote

fleblebleb Posted October 15, 2001 Posted October 15, 2001 I heard you guys had some kind of home-made rock shoe crampon in the works for your Patagonia trip? Is it true or am I just gullible? Quote
Griff Posted October 16, 2001 Posted October 16, 2001 I tried to put in the link, but goofed it up. Anyway, this was talked about back in Nov. 2000 on the Climber's Board on this site... [This message has been edited by Griff (edited 10-15-2001).] Quote
