  1. i was gonna say ask slappy and cracky there went big this summer. i had a pathetic one personally only two new routes and no one will ever do them again! and dbg seriously rivals s face of prusik for jam cracks..... thou we are moving into cragging season and i have a new slew of brushes!!!!
  2. please tell me a source of crypto in washington my friend is a water quality manager for many manicupalities and we went over this. he does not ever use any type of treatment for his water. crypto(rarely found in the us) and giradia are easily avoidable just by the movement of the water. bulk is always an issue to me. gary please explain your logic on the 2lbs 1 liter bottle theory? and also the pills i have take 10 minutes to work. oyu cant wait 10 minutes? and ray is right plan ahead! you know forethought!! it works amazingly! even for beyond the water drama! filters are not for us based CLIMBERS(i dont know about backpackers)
  3. brock what was the size of the setup you ran? and you cannot claim it to be cheaper! the cost of the hydro setup is unsightly! unless of course the hobby you are reading about is for profit! and the automate the system is quite a job too! you can make mistakes with dirt and still recoup your crop! but either way i have only ever read about any of this, so what would i really know!??!?!?!
  4. yeah a water filter is a waste of money and wieght. i could see the application of it in 3rd world countries or something...but other then that yeah right!
  5. dirt is actully way more cost effective and gives you more leeway on making mistakes during the cycles. the marginal increase in home grow ops for recreational purposes is null. well that is atleast what i have read and shit....
  6. josh unbelievably stupid question. the reason we need sub machine guns is so that we can kill that squirrel and the likes of it with little to no skill. you can just pull the trigger and wade thru the carnage afterwards. there is no reason to allow semi automatic weapons other then owner needing another reason to compensate for lack of. i would like to see actual reasons with legitimate support for needing semi automatics.

    Half bags

in the summer i dont even bring a sleeping bag...i got a micro little deal that works well enough with my clothes. in the winter i carry a lighter synth bag and sup with my synth jacket. usually have a bivi or a betamid or a blue tarp to keep me sheltered.
  13. soundz about what i got, but i now have less camalots on my rack, well atleast the one i sport around. but i always have 2 sets of tcus with me. they just always work. i think a set of cams is good for granite, but with some other types of stone additionals are always needed.
  14. is allisin pm'ing you again trask! sucks the when tables are turned. do you feel like a used piece of meat now or what?

    Hey Dru!

who is this person rumr?? hopefully a hottie in a sport top!!!! gimme pics! har har har! deeta pleez! i am sure dfa is just waiting to post, but he needs to confirm his suspicsions 1st!!!
  16. well kick good steps as i am displeased at the propostion of slogging a passe glacier root, wit tue toolies.
  17. BUMMER ABOUT FRED LEAST HE IS STILL OUT THERE WHILE THE REST OF US WALLOW IN SELF PITY AT WORK!
  18. also another thing that peeves me, is when people make shoulder lengths into quick draws and then use the quickdraw/shoulder length and pull it long again. now you have done the same action twice where you would have not had to do it once. and now you have an extra biner just dangling. i use 4-6 long draws on the harness and 6-8 slings over the shoulder
  19. prolly so....no precip in along while. hot temps. i would imgaine the consolidation has made it pretty ice climby. tho one axe would be sufficent.imo
  20. once the 1st freeze hits all but the hardy bugs can still hang. not bothersome. but i am sure there will be flies!
  21. i prefer both options depending on what is at hand. for cragging on the harness and the rest goes on the sling. i figure whoever brings the rack dictates the option. you need to be flexable enough to handle all the sitmos. bug is righ on about the efficiceny. plus there is potential lest chance to drop your gear. be flexible. and i keep mine in the glove box!
  22. its always doable just depends on much you want it. and hurry up and find out, we b climbing it in sept!
  23. still pretty consistant. some of the sources are selling up a lesser quality(must be bc). but the local crops are fine from what i can tell! i just enjoyed some freshiez as is!
