Matt P, Hypocrite, look it up...

Try to find an internet forum that doesn't have useless spray peppered throughout. Not sure if you know but this websight has gone as far as alocating a place for this shit. It's actually called "Spray"

are you really that fucking stupid?

mattp wasn't bitching about people flinging shit in 'spray', you jackass. we're all aware that 'spray' is for spraying. matt's complaints stemmed from excessive spraying in a legitimate topic outside of 'spray'.

    a freight train of stupidity?

once again, you missed the whole fucking point. matt was talking about people fucking up countless, legitimate topics in other parts of the forum. he's not talking about 'spray'.

People enjoy beak'n off to each other, I look forward to Trasks spicy replies. It's fun.

great, i agree to an extent. trask and a lot of people here are funny sonsabitches, even outside of spray. some of the banter is quite witty and humorous. however, i agree with mattp - it gets old when it has to occur in almost every single thread, regardless of subject matter, especially when it derails a thread to the point that no one will post any more useful information.

So don’t' tell me you don't tune in for the same reason. I've seen your replies, YOU PARTICIPATE, like many of us. Know body likes a hypocrite.

there are plenty of reasons to 'tune' into this site and there exists a handful of forums/topic subjects to meet varying wants/needs. it's when people aren't smart enough to understand/respect this concept that shit gets out of hand and annoying. there's a time and place for just about everything. people need to be smart enough to understand this concept. participating is different than spray.

you shouldn't anticipate having to pick through 30 posts of spray to find 6 posts of pertinent information in a beta topic. that's lame. if beta topics include that much spray, it's a pretty sad commentary on people and their lack of tact, self-restraint and intelligence.

you should feel free to spray like mad in 'spray', but for fuck's sake, please control it in other parts of the forum and exercise some restraint.

this forum can get somewhat weird in the fact that people get so frenzied over spraying and talking shit that they actually threaten each other. chill out. it's just the internet.

a good rule of thumb is that if you feel the urge to interject pointless, derailing spray into a legitimate thread for no other purpose than the self-amusment you get by seeing your printed words or a desire to cause problems, you should:

    a. unplug your modem

    b. grab a beer, or

    c. go climb something

    cheers,

yeah, but at least out west, when you show up at a ski hill you aren't confused whether you should pull out crampons or your boards. [laf][Moon]

our freshies fall 200" deep and feather light in north idaho, so it's worth the wait!

  3. i caught the end of some television program with a short story about the big four ice caves just the other night. evening magazine, perhaps? i don't remember.

anyway, it was interested to listen to the ranger/geologist (or whoever the hell it was) talk about how the caves form differently each year depending on the snowmelt patterns. some years there's only one big cave and other years there are several.

    cheers,

  4. don't feel so lame, gapertimmy...

i went climbing today for the first time in SIX MONTHS! [Eek!] ...that is aside from bouldering around in sneakers a few times while hiking this summer. that's way lame - not climbing for six months.

it was pretty cold and later in the afternoon, so i only got on 2 routes. it felt good to be back off the deck and i was happy with cruising a fun .10a in spite of so many months off.

    cheers,

hey now, when you drink cheap-ass-bottom-of-the-barrel-beer or 40's, $15 goes a LONG way! [laf][big Drink][laf]

few weeks = 2 weeks of week nights.

    HELP

i gave candy to the kiddies until 9:00pm when they quit coming around. then i closed shop and hit the icehouse tallboys! [big Drink]

i fully expect the remains of the pumpkins my wife and i carved to be littering the streets by morning. hell, if the little shits in the neighborhood don't get on it, i may have to destroy them myself! [laf][laf]

i like halloween. gotta appreciate the innocence of kids having fun by getting dressed up, going nuts and consuming mass quantities of sugar.

ha! i can understand that if you provide large, forum-driven site, hosting can get expensive...

but asking people to pay you to manipulate photos and design your own web site? [laf][laf][laf]

$15 dollars a month. that's all it costs to run that site. shit, i spend more than than on beer every couple weeks, and i'm unemployed! [laf][laf]

  9. third one is beehive dome, across the pack river from the harrison lake trail head. looks like some really fun multipitch slab stuff on bomber granite.

needless to say i plan on spending a lot of time up there next summer. are you familiar with technical routes in the idaho selkirks?

  10. brass monkey is the only way to drink old e. otherwise it tastes like shit!

what about camp 4 ghetto juice - ye old king cobra?

i had to purchase a handful of king cobra tallboys when i was in the valley this last spring, purely out of principle.
