  2. Previous generation of BD Couloir Harness (orange one) for sale, size M/L. $40 with pick-up in South King County, will ship for $45. It's never been used, just ended up being the wrong size and unable to return. https://www.rei.com/product/807460/black-diamond-couloir-climbing-harness
  3. Cleaning some stuff out of the garage that didn't get used this past year... (1) BD Hilight Vestibule that has never been used or out of the bag... a great add-on to the Black Diamond Hilight when using as a two person tent in adverse weather conditions. Used one for a week in all sorts of Patagonian weather with no issues and provided lots of storage plus a cooking space. Normally $150 retail, selling for $75 in the Seattle area or $85 for shipping to CONUS. (1) Like-new, large Thermarest NeoAir All Season pad for sale at $90 in the Seattle area. Used <10 times, this is a great pad for comfortable camping or sleeping on the snow at 25oz and a R Value of 4.9. Will ship to CONUS for $100. (1 Pair) Black Diamond Cyborg Pro Fit Crampons - Used only a few weekends for ice climbing the past several winters, essentially new, but don't fit the best with the new boots so unfortunately have to replace them. Asking $125 in the Seattle area.
  4. Hard to tell if it's related, but there is a copy of Sky Rock described as 'very good condition' on Amazon listed by a "just launched" seller shipping from Washington. No other books for sale. Went to see what copies were going for nowadays and it caught my eye.
  5. I have an extra, unused Black Diamond Hilight vestibule that I'm selling for $70. Retails for $140 and is a great extension to the tent if you have two people on an extended trip or just want some extra space for wet gear. Willing to meet in downtown Seattle or Tacoma areas. Otherwise will ship to CONUS for an additional $10. We used one for a week through all sorts of weather in Patagonia and it performed great!
  6. Bump for a great deal on a vestibule
  7. I have a like-new, large Thermarest NeoAir All Season pad for sale at $100. Used <10 times, this is a great deal compared to the retail price of $180. At 25oz, it's a great pad for camping in all conditions with an R Value of 4.9
  8. I've managed to end up with a second BD Hilight Vestibule so I'm looking to sell. If you're looking to use the Hilight as a two person tent this is a great add-on as it doesnt add a lot of weight and is great to keep the bags dry and give you some sheltered cooking room. Normally $150 retail, I'm willing to part with this one for $100 in the Seattle area or $110 with shipping to CON US.
  9. Time to thin out the gear a little. Looking to move it so make an offer. Cash or credit card (via Square) with the buyer covering any credit card transaction fees. I’m willing to meet in South King County or North Pierce County area or ship outside of the area with a credit card payment plus shipping costs. Therm-a-rest Z Lite Sleeping Pad - Regular Length (72in). Great pad for going fast and light. Essentially new, used fewer than six times. Asking - $30 Sold Therm-a-rest ProLite Women’s Sleeping Pad – 66 inches length. Like new with very light use, no existing punctures. Asking $75 Sold Arc’teryx A300 Men’s Harness – Size Large. Great lightweight alpine harness that won’t take up much room in the pack. Purchased in 2011 but only used a few times. Not available any more, this is a great chance to snag one at a great price. No falls taken while wearing the harness. Asking $60 Black Diamond Cyborg Crampons - Great ice and mixed climbing crampon. Used only one weekend for water ice climbing. Essentially new but aren't compatible with new boots so unfortunately have to replace them. Asking $175 I'll be posting pictures and some additional gear soon. PM if you're interested in particular pictures.
  10. Bump. Great deal to get a like new set of cross bars much cheaper then new!
  11. I have some Volvo branded Thule square cross bars that weren't sold with a previous vehicle that I'm looking to clear out. Had them on a Volvo station wagon but the same size as most Subarus. Cash in King County area or I'll accept a credit card via Square with buyer paying fees. Contact me if you're interested in shipping and we can work something out but prefer to meet. 50" Volvo branded Thule square cross bars lightly used with no damage. Bars retail for $90 new. Asking $75 and including four footpads the work on raised side rails. Message me if you're interested in pictures.
  12. backcountry.com has them on sale right now. maybe not as cheap as a used pair but still saves you ~$100 for the pair
  13. Is this still available? Pictures to vouch for condition of the tent?
  14. A 30m rope is sufficient for a three person team on Rainier. I've used one all over the Cascades and Olympics for both two and three person glacier rope teams with no problems. Granted, if you simply plan on charging up the slope without regard to your surroundings or terrain, a longer rope might be nice because you're increasing your chances of falling in; but in the end, it is all personal preference.
  15. I plan on calling the park before the trip to see about closures, but do you have something specific to 2013 closures? Everything online so far that I've been able to find has been about 2012 closures.
  16. I'm looking for some beta on the descent from First Kiss down at Smith Rock. Throughout the Internet it's been labeled as anywhere from a hike to a Class IV scramble off the top. Anyone have personal experience with the route? I'm trying to determine if it's okay to take a novice who isn't very comfortable scrambling in sketchy areas.
  17. Would like to take someone out to practice Aid technique and I'm looking for route suggestions within a few hours of Seattle. Single pitch would probably be best for this purpose but a multi-pitch A0 could work. They have experience rock climbing but no Aid experience.
  18. It's been 8 months, are you still firm on the $500 price?
  19. $20 is a great price. Unfortunately I already picked some up from a friend.
  20. It sounds like Pro Mountain Sports has them. I always forget about them tucked away in the u-district.
  21. Looking for some where in the Seattle or Vancouver, BC area where I can buy pick weights for post-2010 Petzl Quarks. I haven't found them anywhere so looking for some suggestions.
