good to know. I am also paying attention to the NWAC forecasts which are a bit of a bummer at the moment.

Yes sorry, it was a typing error. I am just trying to get an idea of what to expect in the coming week.

Is it just a steep snow slog then take a left up hill more, once you get on the N face?

Trying to decide between NBC and NEBC on Colchuck. From what I have read, NEBC seems easier with the difficulty being the cornice? Am I way off?

cool, so sounds like i need to work on technique. But its funny because I do have some memorable climbs this season and they involved good sticks and the wrist flick. I guess its something to work on next year.

Thanks Dane. (hope your enjoying your self in France)So are the titans noticeably thinner, or are all BD picks equally thick? I have not had a chance to compare them in person.

When your reday to buy the Spantiks, Google them and see what price you can find. I found some for 450 and a local store did a price match. I had them in hand the same day

I have the vipers, with the standard laser pick. I seem to break off a massive amount of ice, and make 3-4 swings to get them to stick even after i sharpen the picks. oone of my friends has the new Quarks and they stick with no dinner plates on 1-2 swings. I noticed his picks have a very dramaticy angle change at the front point, similar to the BD titan pick. Does this angle change make a dramatic difference on WI? What else could I try?

Thanks, but trip has been cancelled now. Just had a HUGE test thrown at me in A&P and I cant afford to take three days off now.

Im thinking of taking one last trip for the season this weekend. My goals are The fat one, Chript orchid, G2, maybe upper green sleeves...Any one know how conditions are. I checked the Mt alpine site but there is not much on there except reports of dribbles being a little nasty.

yes, an X-ray. They took a standard set of my hand. Initially They thought there was a fracture, but that was not the case. No other diagnostics done, my blood work ( CMP w/ MG, CRP, CBC, TSH) is all normal as well.
