  1. Giant outerwear purge - the closet is full, so all of this must go. I've tried to price items for quick sale. All from a non-smoking house, in great shape or brand new. Photos of items at http://picasaweb.google.com/raloehman/ForSale?feat=directlink 1. Isis softshell jacket - size 12 (women's): Nice lavender color with stretchy dark grey accents under sleeves and at cuffs. Very light microfiber lining, virtually unworn (maybe 2x?). A very nice backcountry and/or town jacket. $45 2. Patagonia Synchilla jacket - size M (women's): Definitely a town jacket - very warm, thick, and extra soft. Stylish wide cuffs, big collar. I got this from the outlet. Never worn. $20 3. Patagonia fleece top - size M (women's): Pullover, hand-warmer pockets, zippered arm pocket. Also barely worn. $20 4. MEC (Mountain Equipment Co-op) shirt - Men's Small: Very stretchy, great for skiing, running, biking, half-zip neck. Barely used. $12 5. Marmot windstopper vest - Men's Medium?: Well-loved, about 1" of the hem is coming unsewn (easy fix), still lots of life. $20 6. Kavu canvas cotton pullover jacket - size Large (don't know if women's or men's): black, heavy duty cotton, zip neck, velcro cuffs, hand-warmer pockets. In great shape. $20 7. LL Bean windstopper fleece jacket - size M (women's): Bright yellow outer with blue inner fleece. Nice reverse zippers (teeth on the inside). Worn a few times - some kind of small stain by the left pocket that would probably come out in the wash. $20 8. North Face quickdry shirt - size L (women's): Fitted, nylon/poly fabric, velcro size vents. Two front slit pockets, really nice cut. Barely worn. $10 9. Polar Skins long underwear shirt - size L (women's): New, toasty warm but too long in the torso for me. $8 10. LL Bean heavy-duty wool pants - size 10 (women's): Thick green wool, 2 thigh pockets, unhemmed cuffs. Great for old-school ski trips, sledding, or cold Minnesota winters. Brand new. $20 11. NRS (men's M) and Gramicci (Women's M) river shorts - one pair free with any purchase of 2 or more items! Please email with any questions. Shipping will be extra - probably around $10 for Priority Mail. Thanks!

  3. Ortovox M2 avalanche beacon (tranceiver) for sale - very lightly used (around 10 days - always in transmit mode), in excellent shape, always stored without batteries and in a case. Battery cover is upgraded (from Ortovox), comes with original box and manuals. Very comfortable to wear - relatively small and light - with a very wide search range and other nice features listed below. Asking $185 plus shipping and 3% for PayPal fees, OBO. New these are $319. Here's Ortovox's description of the beacon: "The Ortovox M2 avalanche beacon has an 80 meter search range. What does this mean? The M2 emits signals at a fast pulse rate, the transceiver receiving this data can guide you more quickly and without hesitation-and in an avalanche scenario, it's all about time. The Ortovox M2 is an advanced beacon which utilizes easy-to-follow LED icons to direct you to the buried avalanche victim FAST! The signal arrow gives you signal strength while a digital readout gives you the distance in meters. The M2 transmits for 300 hours on 2 AA batteries and is ergonomically shaped (fits comfortably against your abdomen). This beacon guides you along a direct search path to the buried avalanche victim. Ortovox has an excellent track record in avalanche rescue and this new beacon lives up to that reputation."

  7. I'm in need of carabiners for rigging my raft - these can be old, beat-up, scarred, blemished, or otherwise disfunctional for climbing, since they will only hold very minor loads. Functional gates are the only requirement. Please let me know if you have anything that fits the bill, for a reasonable price. Thanks!! Email is stickarms"at"hotmail"dot"com
  8. PM sent on the Lowe Alpine summit pack.
