I don't know why you would - I don't know you or how you ski I have both Fritschi and Dynafits. I've broken parts on both of them (specifically the heel pin on Dynafits and the toe jaw on Freerides). The Dyanfit is lighter and more rigid and all in all a better binding for straight out touring - I used them on the Spearhead Saturday. The Fritschi has better release, better brakes, better mode change/heel elevator and all in all is better for resort/sidetouring use. In the interests of only taking 1 pair of skis I've gone on multi day tours with Freerides and resort skiing with Dynafits and both worked fine. I question various reliability data on Fritschi vs. Dynafit because most of the Fritschi owners I know put 10-40x the amount of down vertical on them vs. Dynafit. The main breakage issue I've heard of is the heelpiece pin.

The Letter on the Lincoln Website is almost as funny. Dear Parents, We have received word that a letter, on imitation Lincoln High School letterhead and signed by “The Lincoln High School Faculty and Administration,” has been sent to several households. This letter advises parents to hold an after-prom party and to supply the kids with alcohol. Additionally, the letter includes a citation regarding increased sexual activity with the use of alcohol and includes a condom. Lincoln High School did not send this letter—we were alerted by parents who were disturbed with its messages and we will be referring the incident to district and legal authorities. If anyone is aware of the author(s) of this letter, please contact me—along with the district mandated consequences, we would appreciate speaking to the student(s) about the wasted human and natural resources this “joke” represented.
