  1. Great page! Beautiful photos!!
  2. Dallas was a great man! I met him at a Solid Rock Climbers for Christ event, he was the western wa contact. I also had the opportunity to climb with him once. He will be missed for a long time to come. Love the plaque!! Great idea!
  3. I heard they were 40+... This article is the only one I've seen with the 35foot...?
  4. Has anyone been up on Thielsen the last week or so? We were hoping to head down next weekend, but sounds like all the trails in the area are still pretty snowed in...
  5. Yes, they have found hime... Dallas was a great man of God, and an awesome climber! He will be missed. I only wish I had been able to climb with him more! here is a bit about Dallas some of you may not know... http://www.srcfc.org/Good-News/DallasKloke/ It would honor him if you took the time to read it, and consider what is said with an open heart! God bless you Dallas.
  6. uuhhh, yeah! Selling off his climbing gear out of a rented trailer?? Definately sounds fishy!
  7. I am not a lawyer, but I play one on tv, so listen to my advice please! hahaha Eric, I had posted a copy of your original notice I recieved from Calvin Landrus in Bend on the gear forum. Someone posted some pics of some brand new gear for sale on a craigslist ad. It is the second page of this thread. http://cascadeclimbers.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/934478/2 Take a look. The stuff still has tags on it, and is pretty dang shiny! Good luck man!
  8. bummer, that sucks man.
  9. j, are you marios friend? he was asking me about this earlier. if you can get up there, it should be great! ive always wanted to do adams in the winter. just not willing to spend an extra couple days for the added 10+ miles just to get to the trailhead!! i would guess (again, never been there this time of year!) it would be at least a three day trip. just need to be aware of avy conditions. unless you have snowmobiles...
  10. You are invited to an exciting evening with Dan Mazur, who tells stories and shows films about climbing Everest and exploring Himalayan mountains. Dan is best known as leader of Greg Mortenson's "Three Cups of Tea" expedition. Also, Dan and his team turned around just below the summit of Mt. Everest to rescue a fallen Australian climber and the story was featured on NBC Dateline. Admission is free so please tell all of your friends. The presentation lasts a little over 1 hour and there will be time to meet, for questions, and a lively discussion before, during, and afterward. Dan is doing this as a fundraising event and donations are encouraged to the Mount Everest Foundation, helping poor families living near Everest help themselves build schools, hospitals, and environmental projects. Tuesday, January 12th, 6:30pm at 213 South Main Street (Red Door), Moscow, Idaho. Thursday, January 14th, 7:30pm at Walla Walla Community College in the Health Sciences Auditorium. I'm looking forward to seeing you there and thanks for telling all of your friends!
