  1. **** S O L D ********** Brand new American Alpine Journal. Just like new. It's good to read these things so you keep perspective that the climbs you're doing mean nothing. Was $35, it's yours for $15 or 2 6's of Drop Top Amber. Located in Portland/Vanc
  2. Yeah I was there Fri night and there was a goddamned tent-city just outside the fence and I've never seen so many people up the canyon road. Never even occurred to me that the cg was closed, but that must've been what was going on. I've never used the camp area even when it was free since I like my quiet before 2am... and especially now since paying money to "lay in the dirt" has always been against my principles. Not to mention I live well below the poverty level. Anyway, what the BLM has accomplished really it seems is to create far greater environmental damage with all the folks running amok looking for their spot only to find someone parked behind every tree now - all looking to save $5 or apparently because they're doing a seasonal closure.
  3. Brand-new OR Mithrill jacket, men's Large. Waterproof softshell with taped seams. Material is really nice - soft and quiet. Color is "eclipse" $110 (paid $200). Paypal or cash. I live in Vancouver, work in Portland.
  4. Mad Rock Phoenix shoes, 43/10, never worn. Less than 1/2 of price of new. I'm in Vancouver, WA; can meet at PRG, REI, Ozone, whatever. $35
  5. No but I suspect there is nada.
  6. Wow, you're staying until the 34th? You'll likely run out of brews.
  7. New in the box (well, would be if I still had the box...) Never worn. 43 EU/ 10 US. Paypal (add $8 shipping)or pick them up in Vancouver or I can meet you at the PRG. $75.
  8. Salomon hiking boots, size is US10, EU44. I don't know the model name...but they are a solid boot with fairly stiff soles and heavily-padded heel area. They have Contragrip soles and a goretex lining. They're super-clean, barely any sole wear (used only on an ice-climbing trip to Canada for walking around town). I stuck some cheap insoles in because they gave me more room but they're still too small so... Don't have the originals but trust me they were useless too- Superfeet are the way to go. $40. Paypal and I will ship for $12, or you can pick them up in Vancouver WA. . . .
  9. Selling a pair of new/unused Savage Gear Supergaitors, size Large (prob fits 10-12 boot). These are built for some serious alpine headbanging, but are uninsulated, so mainly serve to save wear on your boots while guaranteeing no snow gets in them. $25 + 10 shipped, Paypal. If you wanna pick them up in Vancouver WA that's cool too. . . . .
  10. pe·ri·od (pîr-d) n. 1. The full pause at the end of a spoken sentence. 2. A punctuation mark ( . ) indicating a full stop, placed at the end of declarative sentences and other statements thought to be complete, and after many abbreviations.
  11. Anybody want to go get some on Hood in the coming days if/when the new snow settles a bit? I'd be solid on steep ice, but I'm utterly clueless about Hood other than the yak route. So if the NF is already out of condition, tell me I'm a buffoon! Just going by that pretty blue-sky trip report that's 2 wks old...
  12. Watch your cornhole - the grizzlies are still carbo-loading. I'm out of work and would LOVE to hit Cody. But I'm a stranger, still climb with leashes, barely touched my tools the last 2 years, and I'm pretty sure Joey Smith was a bamboozler.

Nothing like wailing on the big iron! OK, $30 will do it. Otherwise I'm gonna just go bang 'em in some obscure chossy gash.
