just looked up Fossil Rock, thanks! the only other one i knew about was the (likely graffiti'd and loaded with broken glass) spanaway one.

whatever the one is by sprinker, i'm not really excited about heading down there..

are there any walls kind of local to tacoma? besides the spanaway one or the wilkeson one?

Paradise, take Pacific Ave. South wayyyyy south. past spanaway, etc.. it becomes Hwy. 7, and if you follow this, will take you to the Nisqually Park Entrance. For Sunrise etc from the north end, take 705 to I5 North, get off at the Puyallup/River Road exit 135 and follow River Road east to the end. Take a left, over the bridge, then the right onto 167. follow this, taking the exit to 410. follow 410 east bound all the way over to the NE of MRNP. there really aren't any shortcuts.. hope this helps!

i've had decent luck with the under armour boxer briefs. they dry quick too and don't seem to bunch up.

i just bought one of the 1.0 versions for a cheap overnighter for when i take the dog with me. seems to hold up just fine, quite a bit roomier than i thought it would be, sets up quick, sturdy enough floor. i'd leave it set up. and for the money, i'm sure it will work just fine. weight isn't too bad either. serious wind or snowfall would likely play havoc with it though.

i've had pretty good luck with Google's Picasa, and for doing the panorama shots i've started using autostitch, as long as you preset the output to a high resolution, the 360's turn out pretty good. low quality=utter crap though.. Picasa 2 Autostitch
