On the one hand, our lunch breaks and benefits are just historically contingent abstractions. On the other, you're having a fit over affronts to your delicate sensibilities such as "sick-outs". Time to examine your moral framework.
If workers don't like not eating (or not using the bathroom, etc.) they can (and should) find adequate compensation elsewhere. I wish them well.

It would be interesting to see how much of the nation's credit card debt is currently owned by Apple.
If there were nowhere to outsource them to the incentives to reduce costs via automation would be even higher and the rate of technological displacement would be even higher than it is currently.
