you might look at sites like www.rei.com that have equipment comparisons and there must be other sites like that (?). then maybe repost with specific questions if no one feels like trying to tackle all your questions at once (?).

I'm sure that you can find people you like to climb with on this site.

Climb: taking advantage of vantage- Date of Climb: 11/6/2005 Trip Report: the weather was great so why not ? catbirdseat brought a banana peel to leave on a hold to make it harder for the second: catbirdseat & bernadette try to resolve an undisclosed personal issue: oh hi roboboy, bernadette just needed to get her hair to look right for climbing: roboboy takes his turn: there were easy & hard climbs: the cascades passes were jammed at night so we got to skip monday work which led to another fun morning of cragging at icicle canyon. thanks catbirdseat & bernadette for a great trip.

and just about everyone on this site consumes natural anti-oxidants in large quantities - tea, coffee, beer & wine, so I wouldn't worry about it kix.

For any Greek food lovers coming back from the N Cascades, dont miss Rhodes Pizza Pasta in Sedro Woolly (n side of hwy). It is awesomely good and the pizza is actually better than the other pizza joint.

The Cedars seems to be about the best for Indian food in Seattle. I like Taj Palace (best lunch buffet) but it's in Bellevue. A place called Kafe Neo is on Hwy 99 (Edmonds) is OK for really inexpensive Greek food. My favorite is Santorini Greek grill but it's in Kirkland. The souvlaki plate for about $10 can't be beat among any I've tried.

I'm so serious about not being serious that I can't really tell which one I am. Get archenemy to start another post about me and we'll try to analyze everything all over again in a couple of weeks, try to figure it out.

I think that I actually like every imaginary, cyberspace-identity character on this site except for one who I'm not sure about. That is archenemy. She(?) once made a post about me that turned a bit nasty and hurt my feelings. So archenemy, you owe me a climbing trip sometime or at least a PM. On second thought though, I'm not so sure about that...you scare the heck outta me, whoever you are !
