... wearing a Merkin.

The left or right crack?

Be nice folks - don't you see he's poking fun at Bill's misspelling? Maybe. Perhaps.

DO NOT GET THE LONG ONES. Like Don Serl's referenced post, if you do some playing with pickets in our real snow, you'll probably come away not thinking much of them unless you've t-slotted them. So if you can actually get most of the length of a long one in, then you're probably not going to trust the placement anyway. If you're not over 6'6" tall, those things are going to mess you up on the hike in! I've seen numerous people put on their backs when long pickets meet low branches. -kurt

The file doesn't appear to have an extension on Dan's server. Sorry - you're right. I was thinking your cut and paste got chopped.

Why? Twelve pages in a day?! You've been immortalized here - faaaaar from bannination. Shoot... I'm thinking you can get away with waaaaaay more stuff than the rest of us mere mortals around here, before you get banned. Delete posts? Never here.

Missing the ".mpg" there on your link Gaper... Wish I could be that "slow" at 14k! Damn.

Great! Glad to see this lame, time-wasting, poseur site could help you out. oops... forgot:

Marie - If you're on dialup: hang up and then dial back up. If you're on DSL/cable: turn modem off, wait, then turn modem back on. Either one of these things will give you a new IP number. If you have a static IP address, sorry... you're SOL. Clearing your cookies won't help. They most likely have a IP block on your address. Change the IP number and you're in. You don't have to log in with a username to view the posts. Most likely, they're reviewing all their registrations now and not letting anyone in that has an IP address originating from the WA state area.

Yeah... Chaps was busy last night deleting most the schtuff. He cleaned it up pretty good. There are still a few of yours floating around though Marie! I'm pretty sure Chaps isn't a local.

Like I said... getting her cookies reset.

Trying to get her username back on minnesotaclimbing.com? Trying to get her cookies reset?

Ahhhh... c'mon. You're going to have to do better than this if you're trying to get the masses all hot and bothered around here.
-
Yup. Therein lies the problem.

If you want to see a real climbing board, go here... http://www.ascensionist.com Feel free to register over there too and fluff up their board. We're all friends anyway.

Calm down... calm down. You're sputtering again.
-
Yooooo hoooo... Fido. Are you listening?
-
Lordy lordy... this is gonna be interesting to watch!
-
Licensed professional engineers - or any state licensed profession for that matter. You're joking... right?
-
Does anyone else see the irony at having a post titled "to the assholes who ravaged my neighborhood" spring up here on the same day that you laid waste to that poor little BB? Poor Carolyn... they're gonna run her out of the state!

... and the offspring was a dog.
-
OK OK OK. I can see that I wasn't specific enough as now I've muddled the issue further. What would you get if a MALE cop and a FEMALE dog produced offspring.
-
Sheesh... do we have to explain EVERYTHING to you????? Ok... the 'sotan humor thing was a little subtle, but think about this one... What would you get if a cop and a dog produced offspring? You're welcome.

Yes... the humor is subtle. Ever watch "Fargo?" Think "Fargo" and then read their board. Better now? (No... I'm not dissin' Minnesotans by saying they're like their neighbors - but there are a lot of commonalities.) Two things that I chuckled about: One is that the person has been climbing a month and maxes out at 5.8/5.9... IN A GYM... but yet says they're polite to beginners. The implication here is that THEY are NOT a beginner. I found that funny. Not "blow beer through your nose funny", but funny nonetheless. Now picturing Carolyn reading the forum AND blowing beer through her nose... THAT's funny. The other is that in this thread, and others on the board, everyone is amazingly drippy sweet and nice (even by Seattle standards) which is to be expected from the Motherland of Lutherans. But no one really offers any help or answers any questions. Just like my favorite response... "well gosh - we have folks here on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (but apparently NOT on Friday) and there are folks climbing somewhere outside during the weekend... so you should be able to hook up with someone."
