  1. If I go again I will use Hagan Off Limits with Shift Bindings and my Scott Cosmos with Intuition liners. In addition Scarpa or La Sportiva 6000m version boot with Intuition Denali liners.
  2. Layton, check Fischer Transalp Vacuum. Shell can be molded to your feet. Wide up to 107mm. Transalp
  3. I have Silvretta 404 on Hagan's 130 Extreme but till can't figure out how to ski safely downhill in climbing boots. It is terrifying experience. Jake I also hope La Sportiva (or Scarpa?) can do something in that field.
  4. Do you know more about people who are hurt? ACC Vancouver trip was there.
  5. Congratulations! Excellent work.
  6. I am not sure any of this boots will fit you. Have you done any research to see are they wide or narrow in last? You have to see on-line since here in North America Boreal and Lowa are not widely distributed. Or I am mistaken... However, I think you need Scarpa boots. Something like Triolet Pro or Jorasses Pro. I have Triolet and they are so goood. But my feet are more D than 2E. I am not sure how wide are yours? It's unfortunate Mont Blanc are not what you are looking for. They are so good!
  7. No I haven't used it so far. I have two layers from La Sportiva but not jacket.
  8. It's very good shell. But ... There is a catch! You are an American and if you go for it, you have to wear European style colours. :-) Just kidding! What I meant to say I believe there are no gray colours for this jacket in NA this season. If you decide to go for it, you have to go for blue and red. Also, there is no hood? Is this problematic for you? I for some reason always look for jackets with hood. However, I am pretty much bold so I have issues with being warm.
  9. Or you can consider new La Sportiva Lux? Lux
  10. Millet 3D WDS Composite Jacket could be the answer but still have some fleece lining and that is not what you want.
  11. Eric, My bag is Pieps bivvy bag. Single version... I have it on my day trips always. Not only in case I need it. Pieps made it for backcountry trips but I carry it in summer too. Maybe someone else will need it if get stranded and I have to go for help. In winter could be used as drag bag/carry bag to move injured person. It's waterproof and compact. Pieps bag

  13. How about this small Grivel: http://www.grivel.com/products/rock/carabiners/12-plume_nut_k3n Is it too small? For sure is light ...
  14. Nice climbing ... What is the best climbing guide for Red Rocks? Can you guys recommend one or you made plans searching online (and printing ideas ...)
