  9. Huckabee is a strong contender in my book if he can invoke God and win the Republican nomination even with out having the necessary delegates (as he is already mathmatically eliminated). If he is able to do that and he makes good on making Colbert his veep, he'll get my vote.
  10. I love all of you. Deeply. Passionately. Without protection.

  15. When I read that I couldn't help but wonder how accurate that is. Given that this guy is a professor looking at data and i am but a lowly armchair speculator, I'm probably wrong in thinking something is amiss. I wonder what the regulation cost is in other markets?
  16. I enjoyed the British version of the Office more, but then I've only seen a few of the American version and found it quite funny too. Its wierd seeing one if you're used to the other, I'm sure, like another dimension, another dimension, another dimension.
  17. BUT! I am optimistic about the Mariners and wish I was down there with you for the kissing Peter.

  21. "When insurers like United create convoluted and dishonest systems for determining the rate of reimbursement, real people get stuck with excessive bills and are less likely to seek the care they need," Cuomo said in a statement. In one example, cited by the attorney general, "United insurers knew most simple doctor visits cost $200, but claimed to their members the typical rate was only $77. The insurers then applied the contractual reimbursement rate of 80 percent, covering only $62 for a $200 bill, and leaving the patient to cover the $138 balance." According to Cuomo's office, although United insurers and Ingenix are owned by the same parent corporation, United HealthGroup, when members complained their medical costs were unfairly high, the United insurers allegedly hid their connection to Ingenix by claiming the rate was the product of "independent research." The attorney general's notice of intent to sue names UnitedHealth Group and its subsidiaries, United HealthCare Insurance Company of New York, Inc., United Healthcare of New York, Inc., United Healthcare Services, Inc. and Ingenix. http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/Story?id=4283890&page=1
  22. looks like the PA gov. is saying that racism (specifically whites fearing a black president) will impact the election: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23134717/ sounds like the polls might be holding this up. compare this with Virginia, which is supposed to white, where Obama is leading Hillary with white male voters. interesting reversal (at least my understanding of north and south states).
