  5. Not that I need the temptation, but whats been your take on the new vs old Nepals? how much lighter? I've had the old generation for pushing 15 years now and no issues. A ton of life left, so no Need to upgrade... But the new ones sure look nice.
  6. Number is 0304 on both. Not part of the recall. Thanks for asking.
  7. Selling a pair of lightly used Black Diamond Rage ice tools. Orange generation. Both hammers and have BD lockdown leashes. Have climbed about 30-40 pitches of ice and never any rock. In great shape - can email pictures. They're in the Seattle to Bellingham area for the time being and a handoff can save shipping. Asking $225 for the set.
  8. Coming in thru Seattle on my way to Bellingham and have a few gear needs. Looking for shop recommendations where I may be able to see multiple softshell options in one place. Top - I'm looking for an OR Ferrosi Hoody. Maybe compare to other options for a lighter weight stretch woven. Bottoms I'm looking at try Arcteryx Gamma LT and Pata Alpine Guide. Not from the area and no options to try where I'm from. I've checked websites for the major shops and don't see one that may have both options. Suggestions?
  9. An unexpected good find was the REI Airflyte Hoody. Lighter weight than the R1 - which as someone else pointed out can often be too warm. Fit is great with a ton of stretch, nice under-helmet hood and thumb loops. Can't speak to the long term stench resistance but I'm pleased so far.
  10. What's left?
  11. I'm in the market for a similar jacket. hood required. about to pull the trigger on a Cloudveil Firsturn hoody. May want to give a look. Clouveil is a long time user of Schoeller and now using their own version. I have always liked the schoeller material over the powershield, but that's just me. Anyone used this jacket yet? ton cheaper than the Arcteryx or Mammut
