Start here and fix the problem. BUY A FUCKING CAR OR MOTORCYCLE. And figure out a way to afford it, (maintenance, gas, insurance). Who the hell wants some fucking leech sucking them dry for free rides all over SoCal with gas prices well over $3/gallon? You need to pull your own weight. And if you can't do it w/r/t gas and transportation, I sure as hell doubt you'll carry half the group gear, pull your weight leading, and so on... the stoopid thing is that i know folks that wouldn't mind paying for the gas if this gal seemed like she'd pull her own wait. and yeah, its just so hard to find people and places to climb in cali

the 10 yr is really affordable and easy to find... i'm intrigued about the 15 yr though. buy a bottle of the 10yr. its worth it. Next time i trip across a bottle of the 15, i'll sell it to you at 2X the price.

1) plenty of folks have no car and find partners with cars. Face it a lot of climbing is done with other people. We know you don’t like other people but you’ll have to suck it up if you want a ride. Quit making excuses. It may not be convenient or on the exact schedule you’d like but it does work. You might actually have to ditch a class or adjust your schedule ot accommodate your partner with the car 2) ummmm…switch schools. Move and go to school someplace with more convenient climbing. This has been said over and over and over and you choose not to listen. Take a year off to gain residency wherever your new school might be if its too expensive to be an out of state student. Work, save money, buy gear etc 3) there are many good people to climb with on this and other sites. Yep, meet them, get out with them. I bet some of them even have cars. I’m sorry you don’t get along with people. You sound like a great member of an expedition team. 4) What the hell is your bad attitude about men all about? Not that I’d go trotting off into the mountains with some guy I’d never met before but I’ve climbed with plenty of different guys. They were all new climbing partners at some point. Usually start by climbing with them in a group before going out with them alone but its not like they suddenly turn evil just cuz you’re alone with them. 5) Its great that you’re out trying to get the education you need but you seem rather inflexible and unwilling to sacrifice your personal agenda. Sometimes the day isn’t all about you and your needs. Be patient and take the good with the bad when you enroll in a group outing. If you’re too demanding in this way with your partners you’re going to run them all off. Its very seldom that you’ll find a partner with goals that are 100% in sync with yours. You need to learn to work with others. 6) Keep climbing stuff. 7) Do you have a job? If not you certainly should get one if you’re complaining about not having the money for travel, car and gear. 8) Seriously, you sound like one big ball of excuses. I know more than one climber who has relocated simply b/c they wanted to climb more. There are plenty who have been broke and managed to figure it out. You’re building your own barriers. Get over yourself. Look for solutions. Don’t be so closed minded when people offer suggestions and solutions. You seem to dismiss them too quickly.
