Floyds is an ideal pub for PC. Usually quiet during the week which means that it'd be no problem to get tables and chairs. A wide selection of beers. Good burgers to be had. Darts & pool. Not very smokey. Agree with Minx, that if there's nothing on at Key Arena (pretty quiet this time of year), parking is pretty easy to score.

I'll throw out Floyds on 1st Ave. N. at the bottom of Queen Anne across from Larry's and up from Key Arena. Big pub, got pool tables, loadsa beer to choose from, decent pub menu.

Are people from other countries less scrupulous? Case in point. A couple of Argentinians I play soccer against regularly are a pair of cheating bastards that feign injury, bitch constantly, and try to deliver cheap shots throughout the game. Standing up to them and offering a quick resolution mano-a-mano results in them acting like they did nothing and don't know why you're so pissed at them. If I might just continue with my rant...most of the beers on show are commercially available at your local QFC. I was hoping for a trip into the unknown and a chance to taste the beers of some small local brewers and international of course. Pilsner Urquell to my mind does not constitute an International Beer Festival. Having said that though, the Spaten Pils was excellent for a sunny day!

Nope. Related to my experience at the Seattle International Beer Festival. Too much like your crowd though...y'know...They have "Billy Bob's Off Road" stickers on their trucks, wear NASCAR t-shirts and the women are fugly and sunburned. Everyone's packing heat of course.

Also forgot to mention all these yobs wearing tank tops thinking they were sophisticated smoking the cheap cigars. sitting on the grass was a challenge just trying to avoid discarded socks, cigar butts, and dog shite.
