  1.

Muffy, fuck the lesson plan. Be yourself. I'm sorry about anything I contributed to and if I hurt your feelings. I like yous, and yous are my favorite Spray Princess.

  2. Mattp, I'll buy that. Scotch, I like served neat. Bourbon and good sippin' rums I like with a few chips of ice.

But how about this, a rum and tonic with a wedge of lime? Must be a darker rum, though. something like Mount Gay (sp?) or Meyers rum.

Of course a Mojito... now that's a cocktail for a warm night... which this ain't.

  3. I believe the original martini had a mix had the following...

    2 parts Vodka

    1 part Gin

    1 part Vermouth (blegh)

Personally, I stick with Kettle One, a dribble of olive juice into the shaker, and a quick swirl of vermouth around the glass that promptly gets tossed out. Let the shaker "settle" for a moment, two quick shakes and a strainer into a frozen glass. This is making me thirsty.

  4. I read Casino Royal many years ago. The thing is, I coulda swore it was the other way around. In the book, it's stirred not shaken. I dunno, I mighta been high cool.gif

  5. More leather boot input requested...

I picked up a pair of Mantas. I like them, but I'm not so crazy about their lacing system. It's difficult to snug them up in one lacing session. The Eiger's are awesome on that front, but they weight about a pound more (read: 16 fucking ounces more.) Ditto for the Zeus, but man the Zeus is plush. One bad thing I've heard about the Kayland is that the soles wear out super quick.

I'm looking for a versatile general mountaineering boot. It needs to have good support, a stiff (not rigid) sole, and suitable for both long approaches and alpine ice.

If you have any of these, I'd apprecaite your thoughts.

  6. I've taken MOFA from the Mountaineers. It's a good class, comprehensive and pretty straight forward. The mounties absence policy of no exceptions is the only downside (but understandable.) Plus, the price is right.

  7. Seriously, Tost is a good spot. Sort of a slinky cocktail bar with loose grooves and a nice compliment to the other Class H liquor establishments in Thaisville, cough... I mean Fremont. Bitters (the former storefront's life) wuz a bit of a waste of space. If we could only lure 2nd Bounce back (sigh.)

  8. How has the Latona worked for you'all in the past?

Fiddlers Inn and the Hop Vine seem to be viable options, too.

FUCK Bob and the Bedlington Corporation! They are lying, backstabbing slime (not the employees, the owners.)

I will not spend my money there.

  9. Matt, how about using the polling function on this site? Let the sprayers weigh in with the rest on the simple question, "How important is it to have the Route Report Section spray free?"

    - Not important, it's better with spray, no censorship... fucker!

    - Kinda important, wading through useless posts sucks... let us self police and moderate gingerly

    - Very important, Spray not tolerated... heir Furor
