I have done this before and have documentation, but they beat my record of 2 years, 7 months, and 14 days.
Hey you beat me! My time was 2 years, 9 months and 17 days, but then I did the Emmons Glacier route which is longer.

Hey, why am I still a mini-wanker? When does my status change? I though 100 posts would do it. Once a mini-wanker, always a mini-wanker? What the...?

My hats off to her for being able to do it at such a young age. My biggest worry for anyone so young accomplishing so much is the letdown afterwards. What can top that? Sure, the second highest peak list, but I mean in other peoples eyes and their expectations. Nothing will beat this.
It will take a strong person to be able to live their own life now and appreciate their accomplishments without losing sight of even more personal and rewarding ones that lie ahead. It's like the person that earned a million dollars over the course of their life can really appreciate it that much more than someone who inherits or grows up with it (she did have to work for it, but might not be able to appreciate it as much).
Hopefully she is a strong sense of self and worth. That will be the challenge now.
Way to go Danielle! Stay strong! (and PM me if you want my number!)

Let me fill you in on another neat fact: The sun is the hottiest planet in the solar system, and if you were to touch it, it would burn you.
So what, now you're saying we have 10 planets in our solar system? And it's a fact?

Don't you have a decent stereo? I just turn mine up until you can't hear the rattle anymore. Seems to solve the problem everytime.
Post 100 for me!

Looks fantastic. A couple of years ago when I did Taylor and Tszil, I scoped out that route on Slalok. Must go back very soon and deal with it. Nice shots!

I knew how good pants they have and instead being depressed I went to climb Stonecrop Glacier route on Slalok. Even tough I didn't complete it I felt much better than going to the sale. Whole trip was about 20$ (with coffee in Whistler).
I am drooling over Needle55, tired of doing overnight trips with 35 lit pack.
How was the trip? Conditions?

What about R2D2?

Well, this report has now been confirmed. Just read about it in the Vancouver Sun, so it must be true. Haven't seen The Province yet, because if it was in there too, it would be totally validated in my opinion. (Good odds it is in there though, cause I think front sensational cover aside, they simply rearrange the articles.)

Yes, thanks it does clear up a lot, except that I got sidetracked with the top 99 women list. Didn't go far enough on it to see Selma's name, but Paris was there. (I didn't make up the list.) Thanks for the link!

I find it hard to believe that the US may have broken the Geneva convention in how it treated Saddam. Any takers?

My favourite - "sorry, but that's not my job".

Dams rock. Gotta love clean power. Don't like what it does to the fish and other critters, and to the watershed, but fuckit... it's a whole lot better than most of the alternatives.
What about the otter? Save the otter!

Yah, I've lost plenty. Used to be after the first ski or two of the season - then I got boots that fit. I kind of liked not having a toenail. The only time it hurt was when I kept banging it into my boot - that's why it came fell out.

Cheeze wiz are you picky. Neigh, I say. This is up for barnyard discussion. I should cream you for that.

It does kind of make you horny, though.

At least there are plenty of both vowels and consonants involved.

'I would not make a big deal out of it. Meetings go on frequently with people.'
I'm glad Rumsfeld meets with "people" as opposed to barnyard animals or aliens.
