From Pratical experance I have found that it dose twist the rope not enough to notice but the main reason is so the bar tack on the prussic is facing towards you so you can realease the knot faster. And the reasoning behind it is so the weight is weighted propperly on the rope if the knot is facing the same direction it seems to sway to on side which allows for the twisting. It would be alot easyer to show then to discribe

Josh is right... But it totaly depends on where the funds go I don't want my gas tax going to some shit heads pocket who happends to go by the name gary locke.. If the goverment comes out with a plan that the money would go just to the roads, I would vote for it too but the goverment can give a honest to God plan. No that have to do some sort of study out in bumfuck washington to see if they need to put roads new through forest

Hey do you know a Victor I think he lived in Bozman... I know he works for RMI He teaches ice climbing in the bitteroots or hyalite. I think he lives in missoula now but he might of lived in missoula instead of Bozman I an sure Yeah the bitteroots are great I will be out here for while don't know how long but for a while other then the summers when the cascades will be calling my name

If any of you head out to Hyalite PM me I am three hours away in missoula its kinda hard to come by parterns out here I am finding a few here and there. Dave Lambone have you climbed any ice in the bitteroots

Matt Does have a good point... Yeah media sucks and sways For the leftist or Rightist... But when media gets the story right thats what we want right. For example, Jhamaker, if it wasn't for the media no one would of known he was over due thus people on this site would not of come together to help James if he was in trouble.
