jon, road to h pass should be driveable to or within .5 mile of the campground! i drove all the way to the campground and skied up ruth cr. earlier this year. (jan.) although that isn't relevant, i'm up in the area all the time. last week the twin lakes road was driveable to 3100'. the same elevation of hannegan pass campground. the hill-sides were snow-free above that! this weekends snow didn't really accumulate below 3300' so this road report should last. the trail was on and off again snow for .5 mile, then snow (in Jan.) I figure there is snow all the way up now.
