  1. I applaud it. Waiting for the day I can ride my bike there and wont have to worry about the crowding
  2. iceguy if you are not in with the "in" crowd some people will never want to drink where you propose but maybe once or twice a year. unsmoky bars usually suck though. admit it
  3. It was a killer waiting to happen. Just think about it this way. They did us all a safety favor. What's the fine for putting trash where it belongs
  4. Yeah the whole climb was removable
  5. Ray, its an endless job trying to keep up with you. However much I would love to claim any responsibility for any "moderating" around here in the last few months, I can't. Simple fact is, I havent been around, and you can stuff your guesses as to who has it in for you today up your ass! Alex we'll see who gets something up their ass.

If it wasn't for that stuff trask would never have had an x-wife
  9. Yeah, we'll all carry our bucket of epoxy up in the mountains for climbing next summer. Let me edit in the big roll eyes
  10. Polls are not accurate actually. If 2 people work in the same place and one of them votes sometimes the other person cannot. Like right now for me.
  11. Bad timing. It's called that job thing.
  12. I think in modern times people have just referred to the Ptarmigan Traverse as the travels with a few summits. It must be understood by most parties attempting this what the original adventure included. While many people do make some sort of trip along similar ground I think some people's definition of the Ptarmigan Traverse is vague. I'd like to check it out some day.
  13. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  14. Better watch out. some aircraft might crash into your building.
  15. They can do all they want. Just a bunch of pussies anyway because poeple like him are often someone's other board name and just as guilty as they accuse me to be for contributing their own trash. It's immediate hypocrisy for some.
  16. You see here Dave is that you dont write anything but trash here. So why should anyone consider someone like you any better? Hmm well they shouldnt because you are easy to single out yourself
  17. That web page is not copper friendly. Too much shit. Here's the blewett pass cam if you don't want to look it up.

    this sucks!

Umm actually ade why dont you tell us who hacked it then I was skeptical to give details and wont give any more since asshole moderators like ade want to weigh in on crap they dont know what they are talking about. Besides it aint mine.
  19. I walked to get vantages of it from all points and was skeptical that it had snow in it all the way up and down. Until that is when I got a nice view from just below. There might be a mixed section but it appeared like it could be avoided to left or right on snow... I would expect finishing the climb after the couloir would be the most difficult. I love being an armchair expert
  20. Scott Burke has to be nutty. Does that mean crazy too
  21. It was? How far up the couloir did you get? Oh wait you didnt. You climbed around the north. Where all the windloaded shit was. It's all speculative. But just below it as sure fine and dandy. Firm as a worm.
  22. not my photo. taken from mtnphil.com actually not even sure if it's from the right side either
  23. Yes they can. Especially when you are looking at the other side of the mtn... Didn't need ice to climb it. Just snow. It was full of snow....
  24. The couloir that splits the mountain's ridge here WAS nice looking the day you were there..... Left hand one more direct and complete.... No real ice I bet though... just steep snow and mixed.
