Sometimes links aren't what they are cracked up to be. Take this example from the Wikipedia entry for Carlos Silva: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlos_Silva

J_B's comment is very revealing. For ease of reference here is my first post: The title was Words of Wisdom. Obviously the words themselves were intended to be self-"substnatiating." No links required. For J_B however the words required an "outside authority" to evaluated - Wisdom depends the source not the content. This belief of J_B's explains the manner in which he posts.

In 2004 the ratio of Egyptian aid to Israeli was 1.9/2.4. Given FW’s comment (I think we should cut off all aid of this kind, but last time I checked we give almost as much to Egypt as we do Israel.) I think he should be applauded for his accuracy rather than chastised for his "misinformation." Not to be a smartass Sugtop but FW did not not limit himself to "economic" aid. Actually in the original post aid is not qualified at all it is simply called "funding.". Perhaps I am missing something but by doing so you might not be correcting FW. Also why not provide links to references. OW – speaking of the Déjà vu….many years ago I received a phone call from a recruiter inquiring if I would be interested in a position as Controller for an entertainment company. Turns out it was for a bunch of strip clubs. I declined and the recruiter replied that she understood as there wouldn’t be any significant accounting/finance issues because it was pretty much a cash business. I agreed saying I was looking for a bigger challenge. OK one more strip club story…..one evening at the old Vertical Club we discovered an occasional gym rat was getting married the next week. So soon we were all headed off to a strip joint. After a few beers we walked into the strip joint and a cute little number is slipped some cash and gives the soon to be newly wed a little dance. As they (the stripper and soon to be newly wed) talk they realize that they recognized each other. Turns out she was Vertical Club gym rat too!
