WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Rockfest 2009: June 15th-16th

Recommended Posts

Hey CC.commers - write the dates down and join us for the 9th annual Rockfest. This is our grassroots festival to celebrate Pacific Northwest climbing and to kick off the summer season in style. This year we're excited to have Kate Rutherford (see the cover of last month's Climbing magazine) join us to teach clinics and show us some great images during her slideshow.

If you're not familiar with this event, it's simple. We have free camping for you on Saturday night at Bridge Creek Campground in Icicle Creek Canyon, we'll provide the food on Saturday night and Sunday morning and we'll have free clinics on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

This is a family friendly event, and we'll have clinics for everyone from brand new to experienced climbers.

A complete list of clinics and an event schedule will be posted on our website by the end of the week. See ya there!

Hope ya'll had a great time!

Thanks a bunch to all of our sponsors and a special thanks to Adam and Leavenworth Mountain Sports for bringing the grill out and being the local connection.

Next time you're in Leavenworth, make it a point to get into his shop.

Cheers,

The FF crew.

It was a big surprise to show up at the multi-pitch climbing clinic and find none other than Colin Haley as an instructor!

My girls and I had fun demoing shoes and scarffing swag.

It was a great party and we even climbed a lot.

Thanks!

Thanks for putting this on FF! I can only imagine the amount of planning and prep work it takes to pull this off each year... big props for doing something positive for the climbing community
