JoshK Posted January 15, 2003 Posted January 15, 2003 anybody have any guess if there is any ice at all yet in the banks lake area? I'm guessing it hasn't been cold enough at all. I'm probably going to be in central wash. in a few weekends and I'm trying to decide if it would be worth some extra driving for a few short climbs. Quote
freeclimb9 Posted January 15, 2003 Posted January 15, 2003 here's a link to the climate history of nearby Ephrata. Quote
JoshK Posted January 15, 2003 Author Posted January 15, 2003 Yup...well, I guess that pretty much answers that question Quote
ryland_moore Posted January 15, 2003 Posted January 15, 2003 I am sure ice is building, especially after the "cold snap" last week they had. But definately not in. Ellensburg may be in being in a canyon and all but doubt it. We have a little homemade ice wall that looks a little chandeliered up at Willamette Pass (elev. 5,000') and isn't quite ready. I am using that as an indicator of whn stuff might be ready. Give us a report if you go out there and find out differently. (Actually just PM me and don't tell another soul). Quote
