Jefferyson Whitewater Trail - When?

When's the road usually melt out up to Whitewater traihead? If one had lifted 4x4 ability, could one make it all the way up now?

Last year I made it about a mile short of the trailhead on May 9th. By then much of the trail was melted out along Sentinel Ridge, but there was snow below and snow all over Jeff Park.

Anyone know if there's anything prohibiting bikes on the trail, or any others? I would imagine it'll be skins for the next couple months at least (?), but riding in to the mountain would be pimp this summer

um..no bikes in wilderness areas amigo. the boundary is about 200ft from the TH.
