gapertimmy Posted December 30, 2002 Posted December 30, 2002 has anyone ever skiied there with the snow cat service? if so, was it worth the change?$$$ Quote
sketchfest Posted December 30, 2002 Posted December 30, 2002 I skied it with cat service back in 1990 &91. I got a free ride (ona count of some friends) The skiing was awesome, plus it was great snow years so the pow-pow was excellent. Quote
gapertimmy Posted December 30, 2002 Author Posted December 30, 2002 $200 for a single person though, damn. its hard to justify paying to ski in my book. legs we're made for hiking. Quote
AARON1 Posted December 30, 2002 Posted December 30, 2002 A group of 5 of us went down there last year. It was probably one of the best skiing days I have had. At the time they had two cats. They split you up into two groups and for the most part you don't see the other group at all. Make sure you get hooked up with a group that really wants to ski. Lukely we got in with a good group. Buy the end of the day we had skied two more runs than the other group. It is expensive but well worth it. Quote
Steigerman Posted December 31, 2002 Posted December 31, 2002 I went with Aaron1 to Bailey and it was great. Over 20,000 vertical, all fresh tracks. If you do go ask for Neil to be your guide. Let your guides know what you expect. If I had an extra two bills I'd go again. Quote
