I came across this website, interesting line of sight tool:

From any point will tell you the peaks in a panorama. I found it when someone mentioned that you can see Mt Rainier from up by Whistler when the conditions are right.

I have this app on my iPhone. It was super-useful when I was on a boat in SE Alaska.
