Icicle Creek access

Heard a rumor that climbing in Icicle Creek has been restricted in certain areas due to the fire. If this is the case does anyone know what areas are affected?

I was just over there on Sunday. It's anything on the East (right) side of the road from 8-mile campground up. This woud include 8 Mile Buttress, 4th of July Rock, the crag right across from Bridge Creek (forgot its name).

No word on the Wenatchee FS site as to when these closures might be lifted.

Needless to say, this equals a much higher user density of the rest of the crags.

I saw 3 small fires start back up again on sunday on the slopes of Mt. Cashmere. There are a few firefighters around and an occasional chopper flight but I think its all under control. Just to clarify the closures, Icicle Buttress and everything downstream is open but up from there on the right side (as fred points out) is closed. 8-mile rock (classic crack) is open.

I was in the Icicle this weekend and there's still a little smoke up higher. Some climbing areas are still closed. Not going to try to name all of them, I wasn't paying that close of attention.
