Fromage Posted December 4, 2002 Posted December 4, 2002 Anyone have any info about conditions in NCNP for the coming weekend? From recent posts it sounds like conditions might be decent, but I'm wondering if it will hold through Sunday. I'm looking to leave Friday midday and hit the trail early on Sat. for something, not sure what yet. Thoughts, speculations and recommendations appreciated. Rock on Quote

Alan Posted December 5, 2002 Posted December 5, 2002 Unless anything has changed since last Saturday, the conditions are fantastic. Did Larrabee on the weekend. It was so warm we were looking for a breeze to cool us off. It could've been done in from the car to the car in shorts and a t-shirt. There is (was) an inversion happening. Even though we were in snow right from Twin Lakes to the gullies on Larrabee, it was minimal (4-6 inches) and quite easy going. Took us 4.5 hours up. Also, you could drive right to the lakes no problem. Have a great weekend! Quote
